Grandpa's Soup

Turkey or Chicken Soup

Boil chicken or bones in water along with bay leaf, a piece of carrot or other seasonings. If boiling the bones, strain and throw those away. Add cubed potatoes, onions, and baby carrots until almost done. If you want meat pieces in the soup, add those also. Add some handfulls of macaroni and noodles and cook until almost done then remove from heat. More seasonings may be needed. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Note from Sherry: Dad often cooked the turkey bones after Thanksgiving in a big pot. It made a great flavored soup.
